I have always been a shy guy and I was never popular with the ladies. Sometimes online dating sites would seem good for me but then I would just forget about it because I could never have too much success on them. I would just get to a point where no one was messaging me back and I can only think it was because the whole thing is based on picures and I’m just not that photogenic, but when I meet people in person they all say I’m quite cute. Well so I decided to try phone dating because I saw an ad for it and it seemed like a good alternative. I met a girl named Laura on the phone. We talked for a long time on the dating phone line and decided to meet up in person. This would be my first in person date in a while.
We decided to go grab some coffee. I made sure to put on a casual outfit that had a bit of effort put into it, but not too much. I wanted to seem casual and cool. We met at the local coffee spot and sat down. I was kind of sweaty and nervous but Laura was so easy to talk to that I didn’t feel too weird after a while. She was really pretty and she told me that I was cute. She told me that she wanted to go back to her place and I nearly lost it! I thought she was joking but she wasn’t. We hadn’t talked too much about sexy stuff on the phone. We went back to her place and had a lot of fun. After that we hung out a few more times but nothing big really happened. However, going out with her helped me to relax enough about dating to go out with other people and have even more fun!
