Well if you have ever used one of those swipey dating apps then you will know that pretty much there are a few different stereotypes of what people post on there. There are always people with pictures of themselves at great tourist destinations like Machu Picchu, the Taj Mahal or some far off mountain somewhere. Then there are the people who post a picture of themselves with an exotic animal like a tiger. It’s not an official ban but a simple request from the makers of the app who got a strong message from PETA, which stands for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. What’s the problem with the tiger pics? Well reps from the organization informed the makers of the app that tigers kept in captivity don’t necessarily have the cushy life that we think they do. Tigers used for this purpose are often taken from their mothers far too soon and endure things that are not pleasant in order to please their human owners.

In response to this the app makers said that they would donate $10k to Project Cat, a non profit that helps big cats in captivity. This is one reason why phone lines are kind of the best. You don’t have to try to be a certain way or upload the perfect cool pictures to impress your potential match. You just have to talk on the phone like normal and be yourself to attract someone that you will get along with. The best part is that phone lines allow you to meet people that you don’t have to get dressed up and meet up in person with. It’s a beautiful thing and you have to pick up the phone to find out why we have so many repeat customers who just don’t hang up the phone!
